Welcome to my blog! My name is Allyson. I've been married to my great husband, Jon, for 10 years. We have 5 kids. Justiss is 15, and is my step daughter. She lives with us. Cody is 8. Brenna is 7. Ella is 4. And Brady is 2.
My husband has been trying to get me to start this blog for quite some time. He thought I would really enjoy it. Thought it would give me an outlet. A creative one at that. I could definitely see how that could be, but what I couldn't see is how I would have time for it. But we make time for what is important to us, and today I guess this is more important than laundry. I'm just becoming aware of the existence of a community of bloggers. Not just any community, but a huge one in which almost all of my neighbors are a part. Some of the blogs I've seen are really great. I have to admit, I have felt a bit like a voyeur. Like I'm watching and learning all about your lives, and you don't even know it. :o) So I figure if I let other people see into my life, it makes it ok for me to see into yours. What I hope for this to become is a place for me to vent, share, brag (about my kids and husband), and be expressive about my life. So here it goes!

Just so you know I think you are the hottest chick of all time. Also, I watch how you parent your children and I am way impressed; your husband is a very lucky man!
Allyson....I'm so happy you started a blog!! I think you're going to just love it. It's so much fun, and it is such a great outlet. I've really enjoyed getting to know you better. You are someone who I've always admired, and thought a lot of. I love talking with you, and I hope I don't bug you too much. ;o) I love to hear your opinions, too. We just think the world of you, Jon, and your cute family. You guys are such an amazing family. Jon's right... You are such a great parent!! You're always so patient and kind. Allyson, So I just saw your name and had to check it out!!!! I am SO excited that you started a blog....You are always someone I've admired and I've loved the conversations I've been able to have with you this school year! I'm SO glad Aubree gets to go to school with Ella....I know I've told you this but she LOVES her! And I think you have such a darling family and that you are SO super cute yourself! I think you will really like blogging....To be honest, I was way intimidated by it, at first....Aaron encouraged me, as well, to get into it. He also thought it would be a great social outlet for me.(Thank goodness for our husbands!) Anyway....it really has been and I love it! Okay-I'll end this NOVEL! I remember when we very first moved in I totally picked you out of the crowd and I was thinking, man she is darling!
